Two goals in the final 12 minutes from Paul Booth and Reece Palmer sealed the win.

High-flying Ryman League Division 1 South side Faversham Town progressed through to the next round of the FA Trophy after an impressive 4-0 away win at Beaconsfield SYCOB.

Renford Tenyue got the ball rolling with a goal in the second minute and Dean Grant made it 2-0 after 21 minutes.

Goals from Jamie Maxted and George Monger in the second half completed the win.

Jordan Wells sealed the win for Tim Dixon's men with four minutes remaining.

Herne Bay came off second best in a nine-goal thriller at Heybridge Swifts.

Stuart King fired Bay level twice in the first half, replying to Joe Pearman strikes in the first 29 minutes, before Neil Richmond gave the home side the lead again, right on half time.

Pearman completed his hat-trick on the hour to make it 4-2, but Daniel Johnson pulled a goal back and gave Bay hope with nine minutes left.

With Bay pushing for a fourth goal, Swifts' Billy Hunt struck twice on the counter-attack to seal a 6-3 scoreline.

Whitstable also crashed out, losing 3-1 at home to AFC Sudbury.

They trailed 3-0 at the break before Joe Kennett scored a late consolation.

Ryman 1 North side Chatham Town edged into the next round, and bagged £2,500 prize money thanks to an Austin Gacheru strike in the 68th minute.
