Folkestone are out for revenge this weekend when their promotion charge continues with a home game against Hayes.

In the penultimate 1st XI match at the County Ground this season, Folkestone will tighten their grip on the Kent League Division 1 runners-up spot if they can chalk up a third straight win.

Andy Bray’s side go into the game 25 points clear of the chasing pack with four games left.

And having lost by five wickets at Hayes in June, Folkestone certainly won’t be lacking motivation on Saturday afternoon.

Bray said: "We’ll keep focusing and take each game as it comes.

"We play Hayes on Saturday and they beat us earlier in the season, so we want to go out there and put the record straight by beating them.

"When someone tells me that, mathematically, we can’t be caught, brilliant. But we’ve got four games left and I want to win every single one of them. If we win those four games, we’ll have reached a target that, internally, we set as a group.

"Hopefully we can do that but for now, our focus is purely on Hayes."
