Crystal Palace hand a contract to St Mary's Primary Academy pupil Finley Marjoram from Folkestone

Finley Marjoram is only eight but he’s already signed for a Premier League club.
Marjoram, who attends St Mary’s Primary Academy in Folkestone, impressed Crystal Palace so much in a trial that the Eagles snapped him up for their under-9 squad.
He’s now set to combine his schoolwork with two midweek training sessions in London, tactical sessions on Saturdays and games against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City on Sundays.
Finley’s mum Rebecca said: "We’re proud of him. We’re keeping our feet on the ground, we’re not bigging it up too much but the training he’s getting is amazing.
"Out of all the children in the London area, for Finley to be chosen, it’s fantastic.
"Finley takes it all in his stride. Some children get a bit big-headed but Finley’s not like that and the journeys don’t worry him. He loves it up there, mixing with the other children."
