Folkestone striker Harry Smith is training with Millwall this week.
A back injury kept Smith out of Invicta's first three pre-season friendlies and meant his original trial with the League 1 club, due to start on July 1, had to be postponed.
But the 6ft 6in centre-forward, who is also on Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh's radar, now has his chance to impress the Lions.
Folkestone manager Neil Cugley said: "Harry’s training at Millwall this week so that’ll help (his fitness). He’s had a back problem so hopefully he’ll come through that and maybe be involved (for Invicta) next week.
"It’s good because he’s going full-time, which he needs, because he’s not been involved for a little while. Hopefully he does all right and we’ll go from there.
"It’s one of those things where we can’t lose.
"There’s a few clubs looking at him now and if somebody comes in with an offer, great, and if not, we’ve got a really good player in the team."
Folkestone visit Sittingbourne on Thursday night before hosting Ebbsfleet next Tuesday.
