Margate went back to the top of the Ryman Premier Division after they defeated Leatherhead 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Lewis Taylor.

Gate went one point ahead of Maidstone, who were in FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round action, beating Vanarama Conference side Welling 2-1 to progress through to the first round proper thanks to goals from Jack Parkinson and Frannie Collin.

Elsewhere in the division, Tonbridge Angels lost 2-1 at Bury Town. Tom Parkinson put Angels in front on the half hour, but goals from Jack Willbye, who equalised six minutes later, and Connor Hall after 69 minutes turned the game around.

VCD Athletic conceded two second-half goals as they went down to defeat at Wingate & Finchley.

Faversham Town moved to within four points of leaders Burgess Hill Town after they sneaked a 3-2 home win against lowly Redhill.

Town trailed at half-time to a Bingham strike, but two goals in a minute on the hour put Faversham in front through Wayne Wilson and George Monger.

However, two minutes later Redhill drew level through Regan, but Town secured all three points from the spot with 14 minutes remaining, Wilson converting the kick.

Burgess Hill were in action in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round, losing 3-1 at Vanarama Conference side Dartford.

Folkestone are fourth in the division after they picked up a derby win at home against Herne Bay.

Two second-half goals in the space of three minutes from Jon Pilbeam and Paul Booth sealed the win.

Sittingbourne's poor run of form continued as they lost 2-0 at Tooting & Mitcham. Goals from Danny Summers and Sol Pinnock (penalty) mean Sittingbourne have lost their last four league games, but are still in seventh.

Two goals from Ashley Miller fired Hythe to a derby win at Whitstable.

He netted his first after 10 minutes before completing the win with 13 minutes remaining, earning Hythe a win that moves them five points clear of the drop zone.

In Ryman 1 North, Chatham lost 3-2 at home to Wroxham after throwing away a winning position.

Danny White gave the away side the lead early on before Austin Gacheru levelled just after the half hour.

Gacheru netted again two minutes into the second half, but two goals in two minute around the hour-mark from Jordan King and Christy Finch saw the away side come away with all the points.

Thamesmead twice hit back from a goal down before eventually losing 3-2 at Burnham Ramblers.

Rowan Liburd cancelled out Liam Burgess' opener and Tutus Gotdon-Young pulled Town level again after Dave Collins had put Ramblers back in front.

However they had no way back from a last-minute winner from Bradley Nobbs.

Cray Wanderers, on the other hand, benefitted from a last-minute goal as they drew 2-2 at Waltham Abbey.

Ben Hart gave the home side the lead after six minutes and Shaun Welford levelled on 47.

Jason Hallett restored Abbey's lead nine minutes later, but Welford struck again late to earna a share of the spoils.
