Folkestone Invicta came from behind to claim their first win in eight matches on Saturday.
Invicta moved up to sixth in Isthmian Premier after winning 2-1 at home to Cheshunt, who led through Solomon Bough.
But Luke Holness’ close-range finish made it 1-1 and Ibrahim Olutade’s volley early in the second half proved decisive.
Chatham collected a 2-2 draw at home to Carshalton thanks to Ashley Nzala’s 88th-minute equaliser.
A wondergoal from Jack Evans put Chatham ahead before Oluwabunmi Babajide’s penalty and Lexus Beeden put Carshalton 2-1 infront by the break.
Michael Salako’s sixth goal of the season put Herne Bay on the path to victory at home to Lancing in Isthmian South East
Gil Carvalho quickly added a second and while Lukas Franzen-Jones pulled one back, Tom Hanfrey made it 3-1 just before the hour mark.
Like Bay, Sevenoaks bounced back from a midweek defeat with three points as they won 3-2 at home to Horndean.
Dan Bennett, Dan Carr and Matty Warren were all on target, Zack Willett scored twice for the visitors.
Second-placed Sittingbourne were held to a 1-1 draw at Burgess Hill. Ayman El-Moghaebel’s goal was cancelled out five minutes later by Rob O’Toole.
Dan Parish got his third goal of the season – from the penalty spot – as Ashford won 1-0 at bottom side Beckenham.
Ryan Hayes put Phoenix Sports ahead from the penalty spot at Littlehampton but second-half goals by George Gaskin and Scott Packer earned the hosts a 2-1 success.
Chris Dickson’s ninth goal of the campaign was not enough for Erith & Belvedere, who were beaten 2-1 at home by Broadbridge Heath.
