A man was found dead in Swanscombe today.

Kent police and air ambulance were called out to London Road, near the junction with Craylands Lane, at 12.20pm where they found the body of a man.

The death is not being treating as suspicious.

Condolences have poured in on Facebook for the man's family and friends.

Karen Dalton said: "How sad. Thinking of his friends and family at what must be a very difficult time."

Courtney Mires added: "That is such sad news. I hope he didn't suffer alone."

Corrine Baker continued: "R.I.P. My thoughts are with his family and friends."

A report is now being prepared for the coroner.
