Farmland that, after 25 years, had fallen into disrepair is now a natural paradise and will be opening to the public for Easter.

The site, originally a 16-acre orchard, is based in Swillers Lane, Shorne, and was snapped up by the Gozzett family.

Joining Kurt and Paula are their children Joe, 11 and Tom, 14, along with goats Woody and Buzz, some Hebredian sheep, including Rambo the ram, chickens, ducks, five llamas, pigs Gertrude and Sally, and eight piglets.

The two sheep were originally put on the land to help with grazing and clearing the site, and the goats eat anything and everything.

But over the course of time, the number of animals increased and the family now have around 72 animals, not including the wildlife that has also chosen to reside at Warren Farm.

Last year the family linked up with an organisation called LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) and took part in Open Farm Sunday for the first time.

The family treat the animals like pets and subsequently the animals are naturally friendly and allow people to stroke and make a fuss of them.

The piglets in particular are very vocal and were one of the major highlights last year with both adults and children.

The farm will be open again on Easter Sunday for a fair including an Easter egg trail and nature hunt along with other activities such as a bouncy castle, tractor rides, a barbecue, and face painting.

The fair takes place between 11am and 4pm.

Admission is £1 and £2.50 for the Easter egg hunt.
