Two toddlers competed in their very own strongman competition raising money for a Kent hospice.

Titan tots Teddy Jarvis and Nathan Lee-Jarvis, from Gravesend, have helped raise more than £2,000 for ellenor in Northfleet.

The entire family regularly support the charity and the boys' grandmother Lisa James is the manager at the charity's Pelham Road shop in Gravesend.

Cousins Teddy, three, and Nathan, two, were due to take part in the ellenor mini-marathon fundraiser but the event was cancelled after raising £500 between them.

So Lisa set up a Facebook fundraising page and more donations were coming in so she called in strongman Sean Kennedy, who has won UK's Strongest Man three times, to help set up the strongman challenge.

Sean, who runs RepsandSets Gym in Gravesend, got the event together in under an hour and the boys went head to head on Sunday morning.

Lisa said: "I am so so proud of these two little boys. I was so excited and screaming.

"Donations are still coming in. I can not begin to thank everyone for the huge support they have given to these little strong men.

"Every pound makes a difference, I am truly overwhelmed."

Donations can be made directly to ellenor, visit Lisa in the Pelham Road shop or on the fundraising page by searching Teddy and Nathan's Triathlon on Facebook.
