A road has been blocked after a car crashed into a building in Meopham.

It is causing long tailbacks on the A227, with key routes such as the A2 and M20 being affected by traffic.

Both sides of Wrotham Road have been closed at Pitfield Drive after the incident near the Cricketers Inn pub.

There is extensive congestion to Meadfield Road and on the A227 to Heron Hill Lane and Chapman's Hill.
