Two people had to be cut out of a car that crashed into a garage in Gravesend

The car came off the road and hit a garage in Flowerhill Way, Istead Rise, just after 7.30pm yesterday.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene along with police and paramedics.

Crews worked to free two casualties from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the side of the vehicle.

Firefighters left the scene just after 9pm.
