Fire crews were called to a car on fire on the A2 coast-bound just before the turn-off for Gravesend.

Firefighters attended between the junctions with the A2260 and the A227 and the vehicle has been moved onto the hard shoulder.

One lane was shut, but the incident was cleared by lunchtime.
