Police were called to Gravesend Cemetery last night after reports of people stealing from graves.
Flowers and aluminium pots are said to be among the items taken.
It is believed the pots were targeted by the thieves to be sold off as scrap metal.
“We were called at 8.44pm on Tuesday 1 December 2015 to a report of people stealing items from graves at the cemetery in Old Road West, Gravesend,” said a police spokesman.
“Officers attended and carried out an extensive search of the area but no offenders were located. Details of the call have been recorded for intelligence purposes.”
