Some of Kent's biggest shopping centres are extending their hours to help customers get everything they want over the festive season.

Stores at Bluewater, Westwood Cross, the Designer Outlet in Ashford, Hempstead Valley, The Mall in Maidstone, Fremlin Walk and Whitefriars in Canterbury are staying open later throughout December.

Bluewater near Dartford will be open 10am-9pm Monday to Saturday until December 23 and 11am-5pm on Sundays.

On Christmas Eve the centre will be open from 9am-6pm and then closed on Christmas Day.

It re-opens at 8am until 7pm on Boxing Day, then from December 27 until the 30, it will open 9am-10pm.

John Lewis, House of Fraser, M&S, Primark, Boots and some other retailers trading hours may vary.

Westwood Cross in Broadstairs will be open 9.30am-8pm from December 19 to December 23.

On Christmas Eve the shops will close at 6pm and not open again until Boxing Day when trading is 10am-5pm, as it is on December 27.

December 28, 29, and 30 will see shops open from 9.30am until 7.30pm.

And on New Year's Eve shops will close at 5pm.

Ashford's Designer Outlet will be open 9am-9pm on weekdays and Saturday.

On Sundays they're open from 10am until 6pm.

On Christmas Eve the shops will also be open from 10am until 6pm, they will be closed on Christmas Day but back open from 8am until 9pm on Boxing Day.

Opening hours will then return to 9am until 9pm with shops only closing early at 5pm on New Years Eve.

They will reopen at 10am on New Years Day.

Hempstead Valley's main shopping centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm.

On Saturday the shops at the Gillingham venue shut at 7pm and on a Sunday they're open from 10am until 4pm.

During the week M&S is open from 8am until 9pm and Sainsbury's is open from 7am until 10pm Monday to Saturday.

The Mall in Maidstone is open from 9am until 7pm until Friday, December 23.

On Christmas Eve stores shut at 5.30pm.

On Boxing Day and December 27 the shops are open from 10.30am until 4.30am.

Then it is back to normal until New Year's Eve when shops are serving from 9.30am until 5.30pm.

Fremlin Walk in Maidstone is open 9am until 7pm every day until December 23, apart from Sundays when it opens 10.30am-4.30pm on Sundays.

On Christmas Eve shops close at 5.30pm, then on December 26 and 27 the stores are open from 10.30am until 4.30pm.

Trading hours are then 9am until 5.30pm until the New Year.

At Whitefriars, Canterbury, most stores will be open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 10 or 11am to 4pm or 5pm on Sundays.

However, many also stay open until at least 7pm on some days during the week.

On the Whitefriars website it says to check with individual stores for their respective opening times, particularly on bank holidays, as these will vary.
