An elderly couple were taken to hospital after their car crashed into a garage in Istead Rise, Gravesend.
It is thought the driver of the car lost control due to a medical condition, and came off the road in Flowerhill Way just after 7.40pm on Friday night.
He was able to walk free from the car but his wife had to be cut free by firefighters, who used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the side of the vehicle.
Neither was seriously injured as a result of the crash.
The garage and car were both severely damaged.
