Firefighters called as fire breaks out in bedroom of home in Taunton Vale, Gravesend

A man has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a bedroom.
The blaze broke out in the roof of the home in Taunton Vale, Gravesend, and firefighters in three fire engines were called to the scene shortly before 11.40am.
Crews found smoke coming from the bedroom and used breathing apparatus to enter the property and a high-pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Smoke was cleared by a positive pressure ventilation fan.
All occupants were accounted for and one man was treated for smoke inhalation, with crews able to leave at around 12.20pm.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
