Dan Knight's brace gives Gravesham victory over Burnt Ash in Kent Open Premier A
08:00, 18 November 2009
Dan Knight scored twice as Gravesham 1sts took the points from a bruising Kent Open Premier A clash against Burnt Ash.
The hosts struggled early on but took the lead from a penalty corner when Sam Drake’s shot deflected in off a defender’s stick.
The visitors equalised before half-time but their robust tackling proved their downfall after Burnt Ash’s sweeper was dismissed for a poor challenge and Knight was on the spot to score twice.
Gravesham had a further goal disallowed before two players were dismissed to leave them with only nine men on the pitch.
