A person has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A2 involving three vehicles.
One lane was temporarily closed on the London-bound carriageway following an incident between Tollgate at Gravesend and the turn off for the Pepper Hill recycling centre.
Police attended shortly after 6.15am along with paramedics and one person was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The road was clear by 7.48am.
At the height of the incident traffic was seen queuing for up to four miles back up towards the Cobham services.
National Highways says all lanes have since been reopened.
