Officers investigating a reported assault at a pub car park in Gravesend are renewing their appeal for information.

A computer-generated image of the suspect has now been released in the hope someone may recognise him and contact police.

The victim – a man in his 30s – continues to require hospital treatment after suffering a fractured skull and brain haemorrhage in the incident, at about 8pm on Saturday, July 2, 2016.

He was asleep inside his vehicle in the Ascot Arms car park, Central Avenue, when a man described as being in his early 20s approached with a group of friends and knocked the passenger side door with his arm.

The victim exited his car and following a struggle was reportedly punched to the floor where he hit his head on the concrete.
