A dog has died after being hit by a van during a police chase.
The incident happened at Jeskyns Country Park in Gravesend on Wednesday (October 30).
Police say a woman was also struck but did not report any injuries.
Officers initially identified a vehicle of interest in Wrotham Road, more than two miles away from the park.
They requested the van to stop, but the driver failed to do so.
It was then pursued towards the country park where it entered the grounds and then hit a dog which later died.
A witness said there was a large police presence at the time and a helicopter was also spotted searching the area.
A 32-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Gravesend, were arrested a short time later.
They have since been bailed until Tuesday, January 28 while further enquiries are carried out.
