Robert Stronghill charged after a woman and two children were injured in a crash in Milton Road, Gravesend

A man has been charged after a woman and two children were injured in a serious crash.

Robert Stronghill, 39, of The Terrace, Gravesend, was arrested on suspicion of being unfit through drink or drugs following the incident in Milton Road, Gravesend, on Wednesday, October 19.

Emergency services were called just before 8pm and a woman in her thirties suffered serious injuries and was taken to King's College Hospital, London.

Stronghill was subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

A road closure was put in place for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Stronghill has been bailed to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 8.

The injured woman has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

The children suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
