Driver charged with causing two deaths by dangerous driving in Ashford

A Gravesend man has been charged with causing the deaths of two people by dangerous driving.
A 49-year old woman and a 67-year old man died when a car mounted the pavement in Ashford early yesterday morning.
A 12-year old girl remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Stefan Stanko, 24, of West Street in Gravesend is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, failure to stop at a collision, failure to report a collision, and driving with excess breath alcohol.
He is due to appear before Ashford Magistrates' Court this morning.
