Duncan Holt wants Ebbsfleet United to learn lessons over player budget

Ebbsfleet chairman Duncan Holt says lessons must be learned following the player budget problems in pre-season.
He says manager Liam Daish will get some of the money from the John Akinde sell-on, and the Premier League payment to clubs following the collapse of the Setanta TV deal.
However Mr Holt, writing in the programme ahead of the 2-1 defeat to Salisbury on Tuesday, said: "We have made life very difficult for Liam in the way the budget was given to him from July.
"Some of it has been unavoidable, but we need to get that right next year to give him a fair crack in a very tough league."
