Chocolate shop staff played Easter bunnies by delivering some early cheer to residents at Watling Court Extra Care Housing in Gravesend.
With the ongoing pandemic proving difficult for everyone, the team from Lindt Bluewater decided to go the eggs-tra mile and drop off a variety of treats at the over 55s complex.
Employees have previously visited Watling Court residents to volunteer and help them do some painting and gardening.
With the current situation, the team wanted to bring a bit of cheer and let them know they are thinking of them and that they look forward to visiting soon.
Helen Goulding, housing officer at Watling Court, said: “We couldn’t believe it when we opened the boxes and saw so many chocolates, so we bagged them all up and delivered them to the residents’ apartments.
"They were overjoyed and it really lifted their mood, they haven’t been able to eat together in the restaurant and socialise like they normally would, so it was a lovely little boost.
“We’re really grateful to Lindt and are looking forward to welcoming them again in the hopefully not too distant future.”
