Eastwood hat-trick gives Craggs Farm President's Cup glory
14:43, 29 April 2009
Elijah Eastwood fired a superb hat-trick as Craggs Farm brushed aside The Old Prince of Orange to win the President’s Cup at Fleet Leisure.
The Premier League’s top-two put on a good show but Farm ran-out comfortable 3-0 winners.
Eastwood opened the scoring early on, running on to a through ball and slotting past keeper Richard Miles.
He doubled the lead just before the interval following good work from Tony Swann.
The second half saw chances at a premium before Tom Crowther shot against a post with 10 minutes remaining.
Eastwood had the final word two minutes from time, volleying into the top corner from 25 yards.
The hat-trick hero received the man-of-the-match accolade
from league president Roger Bowen.
