John Moules has revealed that Ebbsfleet have rejected bids for players without them being voted on by MyFootballClub members.

The Fleet chairman has disclosed that additional bids have not been made public because they fell short of the club’s expectations.

MyFootballClub members rejected two bids of £30,000 and £40,000 for striker Michael Gash, believed to have been from Luton Town and York City, while also snubbing a £10,000 offer from York for defender Darius Charles.

League 2 outfit Morecambe claimed they had a £42,000 bid for leading scorer Gash rejected by an internet poll but that bid was actually rejected by the club.

Mr Moules (pictured) said: "We had so many bids for players that we stopped putting them on the website until they met our valuation.

"Another bid for Darius Charles from York City wasn’t put to the vote for the same reason."

He also confirmed that no bids have been received for England Non-League goalkeeper Lance Cronin.
