Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish waiting to hear whether his playing budget will increase

Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish is waiting to hear if any of the £25,000 the club earned from a clause he inserted in John Akinde’s £140,000 sale to Championship club Bristol City last season will increase his playing budget.
Daish agreed a deal with City boss Gary Johnson whereby the Fleet would receive a further £25,000 once the 20-year-old passed an agreed number of appearances.
That figure was reached a week ago but Daish is unsure how much of the money, if any, he will receive to strengthen the side.
"Will I get any of the money? he said. "Time will tell, I really don’t know."
Daish is keen for the money to flow into his playing budget as he continues to rebuild after last season’s squad was decimated through financial constraints.
