Ebbsfleet Unied 1 Maidenhead 2
20:45, 14 August 2010
Ebbsfleet slumped to a 2-1 home defeat to a Maidenhead side that finished with nine men in their first game in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
After an uneventful and goalless first half, the visitors went on front with a penalty just after the hour mark.
Kieron St Aimie scored, but the kick was ordered to be retaken only for him to again find the back of the net with his second attempt on 61 minutes.
Fleet hit back in the best possible fashion when Calum Willock was on target three minutes later.
The home side hit the bar, but Maidenhead went back in front when Martel Powell scored what turned out to be the winner with a good finish.
The visitors saw Sam Collins and Jamal Fyfield both dismissed for two yellow cards, but still managed to keep Fleet at bay.
