Ebbsfleet United allowed a first-half lead to slip to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Barrow in Blue Square Bet Premier at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Fleet are still waiting for their first home win of the season, despite Liam Envur-Marum opening the scoring on 13 minutes with his first for the club, a sweet strike from just outside the box which flew to the right of Danny Hurst.
However the visitors were level just four minutes later when Adam Boyes fired the ball home from close range despite Preston Edwards' (pictured) despairing dive to prevent it crossing the line.
Paul Rutherford blazed over the bar on the half-hour as Barrow went in search of a second but after the break Mike Pearson blocked Envur-Marum's shot on the line as Fleet sought a winner.
However they were caught on the break 11 minutes from time when Boyes burst forward and found Paul Smith who fired low under Edwards to condemn Fleet to their third defeat of the new season.
