Ebbsfleet defender Dean Pooley is expected to be out for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old suffered a leg injury in the 2-1 defeat at Crawley on Saturday.
He was released from hospital later in the evening after initial tests showed his leg was not fractured.
But he will have an MRI scan on Wednesday to find out the full extent of the injury.
With Clint Easton sidelined during March and April, Fleet boss Liam Daish is looking to add some emergency defensive cover this week.
However, he will have to send players out on loan to free up some money within his budget.
