Ebbsfleet United looking for FA Cup cash boost

Liam Daish is targeting a place in Sunday’s FA Cup first round draw, prize money of £10,000 and the preservation of Ebbsfleet’s two-month unbeaten record when they meet Blue Square Bet South rivals Boreham Wood for the second successive week at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Daish (pictured) is satisfied with the progress his new-look side are making but is playing down Fleet’s achievements so early in the campaign.
He said: "We want to try and keep the momentum going. We are getting more confident but we haven’t done anything yet.
"It’s another game we want to win and go as far as we can in the Cup because we all know the financial benefit it brings.
"We won’t be taking them lightly but will gain confidence from knowing they are a side we can beat having won there last week. We want to keep the good run going and to keep working hard for each other."
Defender Joe Howe has re-signed after leaving problem club Croydon Athletic and was on the bench in the 1-0 win on Saturday, although Fleet have released Tyron Sealey and Ugo Udoji.
Howe, 22, joined Fleet in 2007 before moving to Kettering, Fisher and Welling. He was player-of the-year at Athletic.
Daish is hoping long-term hamstring injury victim Scott Ginty will complete a full training session this week.
He added: "He needs to be able to join in with us two or three times, and also needs matches."
