Ebbsfleet striker Michael Gash has joined York City for £55,000.
The move has been confirmed by York after the Fleet revealed that myfootballclub members have been voting on whether to accept the bid.
It represents a massive proft for the Fleet on a player signed from Cambridge City last summer for £20,000.
A total of 2,215 (94.2%) members voted in favour of selling Gash (pictured) after Fleet boss Liam Daish urged members to back the deal.
Daish said: "Weighing everything up, I think this is the right deal for Ebbsfleet United and Michael Gash.
"It will make a considerable difference to our playing budget and enable me to bring in a number of the players we've been looking at over the last few weeks.
"I have spoken to Michael and he has expressed a wish to move on."
The Fleet will be paid £30,000 now and a further £25,000 on January 1, 2010. There is a sell-on clause of 20% of money received should Gash be sold by York in the future.
In addition, the sell-on fee to Gash's previous club Cambridge City was re-negotiated. This means that £7,000 of the fee received will go to Cambridge City, with the Fleet grossing £48,000. Cambridge City would also receive 30% of the 20% that the Fleet would receive from any further transfer.
