Lucky victim rescued from River Thames in Greenhithe

A man has been pulled to safety after being spotted in the River Thames.
Police confirmed he was seen in the water near Sara Crescent in Greenhithe at around 4.25pm.
A spokesman said: "The man was helped out of the water by two members of the public and has been taken to a local hospital."
Police, fire, and ambulance crews were called to the scene, not far from the Asda superstore in Station Road.
No other details were available.
