A man who discovered his car had been stolen from outside his house went looking for it - only to come across it a few streets away in flames.
Thames-side fire crews were called to put out the blue Vauxhall Corsa which had been abandoned in Gunn Road, Swanscombe.
One pump attended from the Gravesend station, which was on standby for Dartford crews at the time, and the flames were quickly doused.
The owner reported the incident, which happened around noon on Tuesday, May 26, to the police.
