Fire crews believe a blaze that broke out in a derelict hospital building was started deliberately.
Emergency crews were called to the former maternity unit in Bath Street in Gravesend at 4.30pm yesterday.
Police and three fire engines attended, and crews wore breathing apparatus while extinguishing the flames.
Nobody was injured and the fire was out by 6pm.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the cause was thought to have been deliberate.
