There were delays to trains through Gravesend after a fire.
The small blaze happened next to the track not far from the station in Rathmore Road.
Southeastern tweeted about 11.35am: "We have received reports of a fire next to the track in the #Gravesend area. Trains may be delayed or altered. More details to follow."
Another message shortly after said: "The fire is on the Strood side of Gravesend station and some Southeastern High Speed trains may be diverted.
"Response staff and Kent Fire Brigade are attending the location. Disruption expected until 13.30."
Services through the area were subject to delay as they run at a reduced speed past the incident.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said they were called at 11.15am, adding: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to reports of a fire on the railway line near Manor Way, Gravesend. Two fire engines have been sent to the scene."
All lines through Gravesend had reopened by 1.15pm but with delays and alterations to services continuing while Southeastern worked to get things back on time.
