Newly released footage shows Mr Brown leaving Bluewater in Greenhithe with a person by his side.

Mr Brown, who also goes by the name Tony, was last seen onboard a train which left Higham railway station at 4.50pm on Thursday, January 18.

It arrived at Northfleet at around 5.02pm and officers believe the elderly man, who is from Reading, could still be in the area. He was reported missing on Sunday, January 21.

Mr Brown was in Kent when his car broke down on the M25. He made his way to shopping and then to Higham station.

He is white, 5ft 10in, of medium build, with receding grey hair and grey/blue eyes.

When he was last seen, Mr Brown was wearing grey trousers, brown shoes with white socks, a burgundy jumper and a long checked beige coat. He was also using a metal walking stick.

North Kent Chief Inspector Will Lay said: “Since Mr Brown was reported missing we have carried out numerous searches and completed various lines of inquiry but have still not found him.

“We know that after his car broke down on the M25, he was taken to Bluewater by a kind member of the public before he was later conveyed to the train station by another person.

“Mr Brown has a distinctive walk and we hope that by releasing CCTV footage of him at the shopping centre, it might help to jog someone’s memory.

“I would encourage Northfleet residents to check their sheds and outbuildings. People are also urged to review private CCTV, doorbell or dash camera footage for any sightings of Mr Brown, particularly after 5pm on Thursday 18 January.
