Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton was a special guest at last weekend’s DTM at Brands Hatch.
Hamilton, who used to take part in the DTM when he competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series, made a public appearance at the Mercedes-Benz hospitality unit on Sunday where he answered questions about his season and met fans at an autograph session.
Hamilton then took to the track in a Mercedes C63 AMG to perform some demonstration laps. He also treated several competition winners to the passenger ride of a lifetime around the Indy circuit.
Other guests at DTM included former F1 champion Damon Hill, whose son Joshua drove in the British Formula Ford Championship.
Scottish driver Paul Di Resta drove a dominant lights-to-flag victory for Mercedes-Benz.
It was the 23-year-old's first win of the season and the third victory in his DTM career.
