Four people taken to hospital after lorry crash on the A227 Wrotham Road, Gravesend

Four people were taken to hospital after a crash on a main road earlier this morning.
The emergency services were called out to the A227 Wrotham Road, Gravesend, after a lorry and another vehicle cashed at about 8.25am.
The crash happened near to the Bat and Ball pub and the road was closed in both directions.
One man who didn't want to be named, said: "The road was closed in both directions.
"It was closed between Kent Road and Trafalgar Road, while police wait for HGV recovery of the lorry involved."
Nicola Forman, police spokesman added: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews also attended.
"Four people were taken to a local hospital, but their injuries are unknown."
The lorry has now been removed from the road and it was fully reopened at about
HGV now cleared, and road re-opened at 11.45am.
