North and West Kent Citizens Advice is offering free advice via phone and email during the worrying times surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
Following the Gravesham branch closure due to Covid-19, Citizens Advice has ensured its free, impartial advice service continues via the telephone advice line and email service.
Chief executive Angela Newey said: “We understand that many people are facing additional challenges because of coronavirus and want to assure them that despite our centres having to close, we are still very much here to help."
Due to the coronavirus, Citizens Advice is now receiving more queries concerning debt, employment and benefit entitlements.
Gravesend centre manager Louise Walford said: "We are being approached by people who have lost loved ones to coronavirus and having to navigate through some difficult challenges.
"Our service is stretched because we are no longer able to give face to face advice at a time when demand for advice is increasing but we have moved swiftly so that staff can work remotely on our advice line and email service."
To access advice, contact the Citizens Advice Line on 0300 330 9001 or email your inquiry to advice@nwkent.cab.org.uk.

Main locations for Citizens Advice services are: Dartford, Swanley, Gravesham, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Malling.
Out reaches include: Snodland, Larkfield, Otford, New Ash Green, the Gurdwara, Northfleet Outreach and The Grand.
