Gravesend driving instructor offering free lessons to raise money for Children In Need
10:00, 12 November 2019
A driving instructor from Gravesend will be sacrificing a days wage to deliver free driving lessons, in an effort to raise money for Children in Need.
Ashley Bayes has recently moved to Vigo with his 3-year-old son and pregnant wife, and has been a driving instructor since April last year.
On Sunday, November 17 Ashley will be delivering 45 minute lessons from 9am till 5pm, free of charge.
Now fully booked after just a few days, he will be offering his services to beginner, partially trained and anxious drivers.
The 37-year-old said: "I just moved into the area and I thought it would be a good way to connect with the local community and give something back.
"I didn't know what to expect, I'm teaching a real mixed bag of drivers."
Children in Need support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK.
So far Ashley has raised £190 of his £500 target.
