Think your ex is an absolute termite? Well, you can name a cockroach after them this Valentine's Day.

The Hemsley Conservation Centre is offering wounded lovers the chance to get their own back - all for a good cause.

The 'bottom of the barrel' creatures project will raise money for the zoo near Fairseat, just outside Gravesend.

Got a special someone in mind?

For just £1.50 you will receive a downloadable certificate, and your ex's name proudly displayed outside the centre's cockroach enclosure.

Got any friends with villainous former partners?

You can even purchase a certificate on their behalf.

Fun fact: cockroaches will eat faeces and can survive up to a week without a head. Attractive.
