For more than 40 years, Singlewell Stationery & Print Ltd has been supplying and printing commercial and public stationery from its shop in Sun Lane, Gravesend, and Singlewell print department.
Manager Claire Taylor said: “We now have an extensive range of greetings cards and giftware available, as well as your everyday stationery needs like inkjet cartridges, paper and envelopes.
“Our Singlewell Road branch is our print works and whether you need a logo designed or some corporate stationery printed, then these are the guys to help you. They can also print invitations and order of service too.
“A new addition to our company at Sun Lane is the arrival of a large format printer which can produce computer aided design (CAD) drawings in both black and colour.”
The company has 16 employees and has embraced internet sales on its website www.singlewell.co.uk.
Miss Taylor added that customer service was paramount to the business and is what it prides itself on, namely a one-to-one service. She said: “Each customer is helped as soon as they walk through the door.
“We want everyone to leave here wanting to come back. Each person is valued whether they spend 10p or £1,000. We feel a lot of our customers return because of the personal service given.”
The company is one of the contenders for this year's Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards, which are now in their 10th year.
They are supported by the Messenger, and each entrant gets a free profile in our papers and on our website.
This year’s award sponsors are Dartford council, Gravesham council, Barnes Roffe, Kent Business School (University of Kent), the KM Group (Dartford Messenger and Gravesend Messenger), Lloyds Bank, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Edinburgh House, University of Greenwich and Mid Kent College.
Entries have now closed. The winners will be announced later this year.
