Fish and chips and gardening goods have been donated to a care home.
Staff from Hevercourt in Gravesend were thrilled when they received 27 meals from Riverview Fish Bar and two hanging baskets from B&Q in the Imperial Retail Park.
Jenny Gibbons, wellbeing coordinator for the home in Goodwood Crescent, described how the staff members were "over the moon" with the generosity shown by the two businesses.
She said: "Ozzie and Yasar have only taken over the fish bar recently, although they have been in the business for over 20 years, so this was a wonderful and kind thing to do.
"The carers were over the moon, thank you guys so much.
"We would also like to say a massive thank you to Martin Foreman, the manager at B&Q in Gravesend, for supporting us with donations of hanging baskets and plants for our visitor room."
Once restrictions allow, the home plans to host a celebration to recognise everyone that has supported its team during the pandemic.
"It has been a very difficult time for residents and their families, and I would like to thank them for all their support," added Jenny.
"The staff have been absolutely amazing, at times covering double shifts, and Diane Smith has made sure everyone has been well looked after by making sure the staff's wellbeing was constantly monitored."
