Walk-in Covid jabs available in Gravesend
13:11, 01 July 2021
Walk-in vaccinations will be available in Gravesend later this month.
Anyone who is eligible for a Covid-19 vaccination but has yet to receive one can visit The Woodville vaccination centre without an appointment on Sunday, July 11.
Between 10am and 5pm, the centre in Community Square will be accepting visitors who don’t have to be registered with a GP. Simply take proof of age.
Dr Manpinder Sahota, from the Pelham Medical Centre in Gravesend, said: “We know there are people living in the town area who have yet to have a vaccination.
"It is important that they do if we are all to get back to a more normal life, and Sunday, July 11 is their opportunity to head to The Woodville at a time to suit them.
“The walk-in slots are open to all age groups. If you’re over 40 or 50 and have yet to have your first vaccine, it’s not too late.
"You can still go, get inoculated and help protect yourself, your family, your friends, and your neighbours.
“I would encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Free parking for those attending The Woodville vaccination centre is available in a clearly signposted area within Parrock Street car park. Disabled drop-off and pick-up is at the stage door lay-by in Woodville Place.
