Gridlock on the A2 after smash that leaves young man in hospital

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A2 at Gravesend that caused rush-hour gridlock.
The four-vehicle smash at the Southfleet junction caused chaos for commuters on Wednesday morning.
Three cars and a van were involved in the collision, at about 8.15am.
Cars snaked back as far as Shorne, with the London-bound carriageway partially blocked
A South East Coast Ambulance spokeswoman said a man in his 30s was the only casualty taken to nearby Darent Valley Hospital.
It is not known what injuries the man suffered.
