Police appeal after cigarettes stolen from The Paper Shop in Lawrance Square, Northfleet

A haul of cigarettes and sweets were stolen from a convenience store in Northfleet.

Detectives investigating the reported burglary at The Paper Shop, in Lawrance Square, are appealing for information.

It is alleged that a quantity of cigarettes and confectionery were stolen between 7.30pm on Saturday and 7.30am on Sunday.

DC Stewart Catt said: "I would encourage anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously near the shop overnight or who has information about this incident to contact police as your information could help with our ongoing inquiries."
