British Transport Police investigation at Higham train station after teens steal fire extinguisher from Thameslink service

A hunt for a group of teenagers is under way after a fire extinguisher was stolen from a train.
Police were called to Higham railway station after the item was reportedly taken from a train at about 6.30pm yesterday.
Officers from British Transport Police are now investigating, a spokesman confirmed.
A passenger on board the 6.13pm Thameslink service from Rochester said they saw a group of four teens aged about 13 to 14 take the extinguisher.
The witness said they dragged it into the station car park "to play with" and were laughing and joking about how heavy it was.
Two girls and two boys were reportedly in the group with one of the girls described as having blonde hair tied up in a pony tail and wearing a black top.
They added one of the boys was about 5ft 10ins and wore a grey tracksuit hoodie.
