Irish 1990s pop favourites B*Witched are to play this year’s Gravesham Riverside Festival.

Best known for their 1998 hits C’est La Vie and Roller Coaster, they were the youngest girl group ever to notch a number one single in the UK pop charts.

Twins Edele and Keavy Lynch, who make up half the group, starred in Robin Hood at the Woodville last Christmas.

The musical line-up on the two main stages on the prom on July 23 will also include tribute acts to David Bowie (DavidLive), Take That (Fake That), Justin Bieber (Just Bieber) and UB40 (Rats in the Kitchen). Local band The Unknown will start the musical entertainment.

The festival will also have food stalls, fun fair rides, a dance tent, a circus workshop and The Interface Experience, a market with young traders.

It will also incorporate Country Fayre On The Square at Fort Gardens.
