A large fire which broke out at an industrial unit across the River Thames can be seen across parts of Kent.

People living in Greenhithe and Gravesend say they can see black billowing smoke coming from across the river on the Essex side.

It is due to an ongoing fire in Rectory Road, Grays, involving an industrial unit and a HGV.
